Saints Row: The Third Platinum Pack unveiled

THQ has unveiled the Saints Row: The Third Platinum Pack, the definitive package for your Saints Row experience. Priced at US$ 99, the premium package not only a contains copy of the latest iteration of the series and its soundtrack, it also contains "Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax Hyper-Ordinary Pre-Order Pack" which includes Professor Genki's leisure stunt suit, his super ballistic man-a-pult truck and his Octopuss Gun for use in game.

But that's not all, the platinum pack also includes an exclusive custom molded Saints Row headset. The high-quality headphones comes with a "vocoder voice processing feature, inspired by the premiere pimp in Saints Row: The Third, Zimos." Just a little reminder though, the headphones and it's digitized voice-tweaking abilities aren't compatible with Xbox Live or PSN, instead it has a standard 3.5mm audio jack which you can use on your smart-phone devices.

Announced earlier this year, the third instalment of the over-the-top sandbox style franchise promises to take the series into new heights. Saints Row: The Third will be available on November 15th for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

GTA rip off? Are you stupid or just trolling? I'm guessing you're just trolling because no one is that stupid.

Just because it's not about realism and story don't make it bad. Saint's Row was/is a fun game. It's wacky and most of the time you'll have no idea what the hell is going on but it'll always be awesome.

Does GTA have a huge drivable human shooting cannon? Does GTA have Pimp canes and huge dildos to smash people in the face? (to name a few)

Hey, Red Dead Redemption had no cars and horses. Was that a bag game? I mean it's pretty much GTA (ride around shooting things and exploring a huge area)

Also, if it's so unpopular, why are they making a third? Obviously it was bought enough to warrant a second/third.

TL;DR: COD:MW2 is a half arsed rip off of Halo so why even bother playing it?

Have you ever played the game asshole? It is a masterpiece in its own right. Hey quake had guns , that means that modern warfare 2 was a rip off of quake!

Saints Row is great. I enjoyed it much more than GTA IV. I think it's because it kept the silliness that GTA IV lost after Vice City and San Andreas.

If GTA V or whatever the next GTA release takes me back to Vice City or does something to recapture that amazing playfulness, it'll be a day one buy and maybe outdo Saint's Row
