Today Joystiq reported that there seems to be no discernible difference between the PS3 and the Xbox 360 versions of the game.  We’d love to hear the reasoning behind the decision, but it seems that THQ is keeping a tight lip about the subject, and won’t reply to inquiries about the promise of exclusive content for the PS3.

 

Saints Row The Third

With the franchise being known for over-the-top antics and jokes more than a little on the blue (purple?) side, I really think that they are making a pretty huge mistake here leaving their fans in the lurch.  It only takes a little bit of imagination to give the PlaySation owners a bit extra on their copy of the game, considering they’ve done that before for the 360 owners.  What about a version of PlayStation Home you can trash within the game?  I know I’ve wanted to toss that place myself a time or two.  What ideas can you come up with for exclusive content for Saints Row: The Third?  Maybe the developers will patch in your suggestions.

First BF3 now this losing exclusive content. So what's going on with Sony here? i mean Sony makes these deals and no one tells us they fell through, and if Sony's the ones that's been cancelling these deals then they totally responsible for notifying us.

what makes me mad is that they don't say anything before launch. They know people are expecting the extra stuff, douchbags.

Microsoft a few months ago said that if the devs launch exclusives content for another console on the game disk, they wont publish their game on xbox. I guess that they are the one to blame. Look on qj.net about it.
