Rumor: Zeschuk Out, BioWare Austin to Be Renamed EA Austin |
Listed in: News Tags: BioWare, EA, Greg Zeschuk

It's just a rumor at this point, but it's looking like BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk has left BioWare Austin. EA is saying that Zeschuk is taking some leave following a reorganization of the company in May, but his LinkedIn profile says that he actually left BioWare in May.
Piling on, GamersGlobal is saying that neither Zeschuk nor Ray Muzyka were in attendance at a recent leadership meeting at the studio, which sources say is completely unheard of. Part of the rumor is that Matthew Bromberg, CEO of Major League Gaming, has taken the reins from Zeschuk and that BioWare Austin will be renamed EA Austin.
Greg Zeschuk founded BioWare back in 1995 with Ray Muzyka and Augustine Yip, so this is big news if true. EA, of course, is not commenting.
If this is true, what do you think about Zeschuk leaving and BioWare Austin being renamed EA Austin?
