Rockstar Releases GTA V Screens, Internet Explodes

Say what you will about Rockstar—they know how to hype a game. The company published three new screenshots from Grand Theft Auto V this morning, and Twitter, Facebook and the web in general exploded with posts, commentary, cross-links and gushing fanboy exclamation points.

As you can see, in GTA V you’ll be able to drive a car (duh), ride a bike and fly a jet. Not sure whether that’s good news or bad news for GTA fans, but there you have it. Rockstar accompanied the screenshots with a whole lot of nothing, so we really have no clue how any of these things tie together.

Still waiting to see what's new, besides hd graphics. Last game Gta IV brought little in the way of new content to the series.

In terms of "new content" I think you are wrong by saying that "GTAIV brought little in the way of new content to the series". GTAIV was the biggest change to the series bringing new content in every aspect starting with the RAGE Engine it used and the Euphoria engine used. If your talking about functionality in-game like using forklifts and what not then you have a valid point. I'm not trying to start an argument or anything but with all due respect I think you should be more specific.

Todd I think you should have mentioned that R* had said in their news feed that more screenshots will be released this week

That was just how I felt about Gta IV, obviously you have different feelings about how much you enjoyed the game. Me it felt like any other Gta game to me.
