Robert De Niro charting Uncharted waters? |

Robert De Niro's stint in Hollywood has been a very accomplished and colorful one. From Vito Carleone of The Godfather II to ex-CIA Jack Byrnes in Meet the Parents, he's proven that he can bring justice to just about any role given to him. But can he handle an action-adventure project like Uncharted?
David O. Russell and Mark Wahlberg apparently think so, as they have so far been very vocal about wanting De Niro on board for the Hollywood adaptation of the PS3-exclusive hit. But what does Mr. De Niro have to say about it?
At the Limitless press day earlier this week, De Niro finally got asked about whether or not he will be included in the Uncharted movie. According to the veteran actor, he's aware of the rumors that he'll be working with director David O. Russell, but that he doesn't really know much about it.
He did admit, however, that he has talked to the director regarding the said rumors. "I've talked to him about it, and he's still working on the script, and it potentially could be something," he said about his conversation with Russell.
Not exactly very forthcoming, but for all hopefuls out there, not so bad, either. Guess we'll have to wait a bit more before finding out if Robert De Niro signs the dotted line for the Uncharted movie. At least he didn't shoot it down. Not yet.
