Resistance 3 goes gold |

Insomniac's latest sci-fi shooter Resistance 3 has officially gone gold, meaning the game is now finished and ready for mass production.
To celebrate to golden announcement, Insomniac has released a brand new gameplay trailer, giving us a little taste of the action and the story plot of the long awaited shooter sequel.
"Everyone here at Insomniac is excited for you to get your hands on the game we’ve been working so hard on for the last three years," said James Stevenson, Senior Community Manager of Insomniac Games. "Even now, our work isn’t complete, as we are actively working on the Online Beta, and will be bringing a Day 1 Patch to the game to bring updates and tweaks to the final product."
And speaking of the final product, Stevenson also revealed the extra contents of the retail disc. Every copy of Resistance 3 will include playable demos of Killzone 3, MotorStorm Apocalypse (both in 2D and 3D!) and inFamous 2, as well as a host of trailers and developer clips from Uncharted 3, Starhawk, God of War: Origins, and SOCOM 4. It will also include movie trailers and music videos from Sony Pictures and Sony Music, whcih includes the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Incubus, Foo Fighters, and AC/DC.
The public beta of the game is scheduled to go live today for those who have codes from SOCOM 4, while PlayStation Plus subscribers will have to wait till August 23rd before they can join in the action. Resistance 3 will be released on September 6th, and will include Sony's controversial PSN Pass.
