Resistance 3 public demo dated?

Remember when Insomniac Games squeezed in a half-hour single-player demo of Resistance 3 in the Blu-ray of Battle: Los Angeles? It appears that it really did provide quite an inside look at what's going to be in the game, including the release date for the public demo.

Reportedly, the demo had a curious label stating that the Blu-ray version of the demo will be exclusive only until September 8th. There could be many interpretation to that, but one that stands out to the hopeful Resistance 3 fan is that after said exclusivity date, it will be released to the general public on the PSN.

Of course, there's still no official word from Insomniac Games or Sony regarding this, so this definitely will have to go under the Rumor bin for now. Resistance 3 is currently under fire, along with publisher Sony, because of the recently confirmed PSN Pass.

The Asian PSN version of the demo also yielded to some graphical issues, much to the dismay of the fans, and so was immediately taken down. "It's only supposed to be tied to vouchers in some territories, not public," explained Marketing Manager James Stevenson then.
