Resistance 3 beta tweaks and fixes revealed

The Resistance 3 beta will be getting some new fixes and "possible" tweaks, so reassured James Stevenson of Insomniac Games.

He made the confirmation over at the NeoGAF Forums, wherein he specified bug fixes meant to address issues concerning frame rates as well as crashes.

As for the possible tweaks to made, they're looking into the following: motion-blur effect, melee attackes, and leveling rate, as well as other elements necessarily affecting the balance of the game. Oh, and another thing that you might want to look forward to: they're also considering raising the level cap for the multiplayer beta sometime in the future.

So far, these are the things you can expect for the "Day 1" patch of the Resistance 3, as well as the ongoing beta. The public beta is scheduled for a release this August 4th for those who obtained Early Access via SOCOM 4. Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have to wait till August 23rd before they can join in on the fun.

Resistance 3 will also be featuring the controversial PSN Pass when it comes out on September 6th exclusively for the PS3.
