The new trailer for Resident Evil 6 unveils a lot of things. First, the virus plaguing our heroes this time around is the C-Virus, which is apparently worse than the T- or G-Virus. It even somehow makes weird egg things that look like they're straight out of Alien.

As for those heroes, we already new about Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy coming back (and together for the first time) and the return of Sherry Birkin all grown up. We also already new about this new anti-hero guy running around that held the key to solving the new virus, but his identity was kept secret. Well, in this new vid we find out that he's the son of everyone's favorite Resident Evil villain, Wesker.

Whether he's a real son or some sort of biological experiment "son" or clone (but he doesn't look much like Wesker) or something is unclear as of yet.

Another thing worth noting is that the release date on this trailer is October 2nd, 2012, which puts it a month ahead of it's previous release date of November 2012.
