Capcom has put out a trio of videos to further convince the naysayers that they're trying to stay true to the Resident Evil franchise with Resident Evil 6. Sure, things have changed, but some things are still looking pretty Resident Evil-y.

First up there's a video of good old Leon and his partner Helena. We've seen some of this footage before of the partners making their way through a subway, avoiding classic T-virus zombies (though they can now throw things occasionally) and speeding subway trains - sometimes via a dreaded QTE. Plus, there's that old lady in the pink shirt with the magical ability to open doors again.

Then there's a video of Chris and his squad tracking down another Resident Evil classic: the giant snake. This time though, the snake can turn all invisisble and intangible, which certainly makes killing it a lot more difficult.

Finally, we get to see on of the four-player co-op boss fights. Here we see Jake and Sherry teaming up with Leon and Helena to take on the biomechanical monstrosity called the Ustanak. He has a Swiss Army...arm with a variety of attachments to make a bad day for everyone.

Resident Evil 6 will be out October 2nd. Do these videos make you think that RE6 will be more like a classic Resident Evil game or is it still too different for you?
