Capcom has announced that a downloadable version of Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition will be heading to the PlayStation Store starting next week.

The special edition contains the full retail game along with the two campaign expansions, Lost In Nightmares and Desperate Escape. It also includes two costume packs and an alternate Mercenaries mode called "The Mercenaries Reunion," which features eight new playable characters as well as some new items and time placement.

How much will it cost? The downloadable release of Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition will set you back US$ 29.99 when it becomes available on PSN on October 4th. The game is part of Resident Evil’s 15th anniversary, which also saw the recent digital release of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD. Will you be getting this one folks?
