Those who don't have a PlayStation 3 or Call of Duty: Black Ops may have a chance of getting both in one go later this month. Gaming news blog Kotaku reports that a retail source has told them about the existence of a PS3 bundle that comes with a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The bundle is allegedly going to become available at retail stores starting May 24. According to the source, it will be sold at a US$ 299.99 price point. Neither Sony nor Activision have confirmed the bundle, however.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is the latest iteration of Activision's gigantic and very popular Call of Duty franchise. The Treyarch-developed entry is generally known as the largest entertainment launch so far, surpassing Modern Warfare 2's first day sales record by more than two million units. Most recently, the second map pack called Escalation was released for the Xbox 360 version. PS3 gamers will get it next month.
