Red Faction: Armageddon pre-orders revealed |

THQ wants you to revisit the red planet before you experience Armageddon.
With Red Faction: Armageddon's release date just around the corner, THQ today announced the list of pre-order bonuses that will be available for those who will prepurchase the game at participating retailers. Some of the goodies includes a free download of Red Faction: Battlegrounds, a Recon uniform, and a 24-page illustrated comic book, among others.
If you pre-order your game at GameStop, you'll receive a free downloadable copy of Red Faction: Battlegrounds arcade game on either Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Network, a US$ 10 value. Players will also receive a Commando Pack that includes the armored Commando uniform and adds two new weapons to their arsenal, a plasma thrower and dual Laser Pistols.
By pre-ordering the game at Best Buy, players will receive the Recon Pack that includes a Recon uniform that was built specifically for Red Faction snipers and spies. you'll also receive two new weapons, an Arc Welder, which immobilizes and electrocutes clusters of enemies, and the XNG-5000, which launches devastating Nanite-filled projectiles that seek out targets and dissolve them.
At Amazon.com, players will also get a free downloadable copy of Red Faction: Battlegrounds arcade game. Players will also rank up and are rewarded with a unique bonus weapon that will be playable in Red Faction: Armageddon.
In Walmart, players will receive a limited edition Red Faction 24-page illustrated comic book, with mini-strategy guide.
Red Faction: Armageddon is slated to arrive on May 31 in North America for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
