Yes, having to wait for the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto V to finally get an official release date is certainly frustrating, but until that time comes and the game ships, you can enjoy some retro GTA action on the PS3 once Vice City hits the PSN next week.

Rockstar Games made an announcement in December where it promised that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City would hit the PlayStation Network soon, and now the company has finally unveiled official release dates of January 29th in North American and January 30th in Europe.  The game will become available for download on those dates on the PlayStation Network as part of the PS2 Classics collection.  What will it cost?  $9.99 for downloaders in North America and €9.99 and £7.99 in Europe.

The PSN release of Vice City follows up the game’s recent move to iOS and Android.  Rockstar Games also hinted that other classic titles from the company would be coming to the PSN in the near future, and we’ll let you know when those announcements are made.
