PSChannel Updated to v1.02 |

There's no denying that any kind of digital store model has been working for quite some time now. On PCs you've got Steam more or less dominating the market share where as consoles have their eShops, PSNs, and Xbox Lives to get all of their digital purchases. That's all well and good, but sometimes the scenes of the world need a place where they can get all of their apps that are less than official. If deroad has his way, PSChannel would be the top PS3 homebrew source.

While the PS3 scene has kind of been in a state of stagnant boom as of late, one of the few things they have really done well is to create a central marketplace where hackers can get all of the latest homebrew releases. Sure sites like this one are awesome locales to keep up on all of the latest news, but wouldn't it be awesome to just connect to a store and download the latest multiMAN directly to your machine instead of having to use a computer? Why not give this build of PSChannel a shot to peer into the future.
As it stands now, the current build has complete support for all Brewology downloads. This means you'll certainly have a lot of apps to choose from, but most of these will probably be for 3.55. All that said, there are still signed pkgs for 4.XX if you're using a later version. The developer also says that if you are releasing a new homebrew, please contact MonkeyMaximus on the Brewology forums to get in on the action. PSChannel will only succeed if the community is there to support it, so show deroad some love and give this official release a try.
