Includes auto cloud game saves and Trophy sync features. But before you get excited, unfurtunately, this one is only exclusive to all PlayStation Plus subscribers.

So here's the breakdown of the upcoming update according to SCEA's Eric Lempel:
For PlayStation Plus subscribers:
- The [Automatic Download] feature will now be called [Automatic Update].
- A new auto upload function for online save data back-up will be added to make it easier to back-up your game save data. Under (Game), select the game for which you want to automatically upload saved data, and then press the Triangle button.
- Also, Trophies will now sync automatically at the timing of Auto Download.
For all users:
- A new recommendation function will be added that enables you to share your recommendations for PlayStation Store items, such as games and videos, with PlayStation Network friends.
- A new category on the XMB called TV/Video Services has been added.
- You’ll be able to find and download all of the video applications available on PS3 directly from this new XMB category.
- A folder labeled “My Channels” within this category will allow you to easily access your downloaded applications.
- Any videos downloaded from the PlayStation store will continue to be placed in the existing Video category on the XMB
- 3D support will now be available when accessing Java-based special features on Blu-Ray
- DTS-HD MA, DTS-HD HR decoding/bit stream output (or lossless audio) will be supported while playing Blu-ray 3D movies.
- 3D digital photos in MPO format can now be viewed in 3D on the XMB and in the Photo Gallery app.
The update will be available "soon". Lempel added that they will also release a minor update for the PSP "soon." Stay tuned as we get more details on that one. The last PS3 update was released last June but didn't include anything new except for the "system stability improvements."

If you ask me, auto syncing of trophies should have been in the system from day one and should be a feature everyone can 'enjoy'... ( Well, I have never really bothered with syncing them manually but still, I don't like how PS+ users are getting all the neat features and normal people aren't getting anything 'nymore )

the trophy thing isnt exactly worth paying for and the other thing is just a rename.
You could always just pay to get ps+ if you think those features are handy.
Personally ps+ is a joke, I didnt notice any difference when I had it for free for that month. the only thing I got from it, was a free-for-a-month streets of rage.

It's been totally worth the money. Screw you haters. Your just to damn cheap to pay so you don't get anything. Wanna bottle now? Just shut up, go away.
