It appears that Saints Row The Third developer THQ will be keeping their PS3 exclusive promise after all.  This, possibly in reaction to the outrage the arose from the gaming community after it was revealed that the PS3 version of Saints Row 3 is identical to the Xbox 360 version.

For those that buy Saints Row 3 on PlayStation 3, they will get a code to download Saints Row 2 for free.  That’s a $19.99 value. Okay, so the way I see it, this is less of an exclusive and more of a tacked on coupon shoehorned in after the fact.  Even more silly when you consider that 90% of those who would be buying Saints Row 3 on the PS3 already own Saints Row 2.  Still, at least THQ is finally understanding that when they promise something they need to hold up to that promise.  I am curious to know what your opinion is on this:  Is this enough of a PS3 exclusive to call off the Occupy THQ protests, or is it still not enough to calm your rage?
