The first patch for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is on the horizon, and it’s highlighted by some changes to Sackboy and a new item.

SuperBot announced the details on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s first patch via its official Tumblr page.  The patch features your typical bug fixes and performance enhancements, plus some other points of interest.  Here’s the breakdown:

Bug fixes to be applied:

  • addition of View Invites to the Party Bar Menu
  • AI logic improvements
  • addition of voice chat icon to loading screens

Network performance improvements:

  • better network connectivity
  • improved matchmaking according to player skill
  • fix to character selection where players were forced to use a character they did not choose

As for the changes to Sackboy, the cost of each of his Super attacks will increase.  Level 1 from 100 to 150 AP, level 2 from 325 to 400 AP, and level 3 from 600 to 750 AP.  AP generation for Sackboy’s Jam Session (neutral triangle) will reduce from 25 to 10.  The same holds true for his Cakeinator (neutral circle), which will reduce from 25 to 20.

Last, but not least, the first patch will include a new item dubbed Medusa’s Gaze, which is presumably from God of War.

Have you been playing PlayStation All-Stars?

So, instead of maybe fixing kratos and raiden... they focused their attention on Sackboy? Seriously?

And also, while they're at it, they could try to do something about the god awful menu. The fact that if you've played against bots it doesn't save settings (so you have to redo them). The fact that it looks.. well.. garbage?

Right. Because no one is allowed to make 4-player fighting games or crossover games except Nintendo. They're pioneers!

Maybe they should focus more on fixing nathan drake than sackboy. annoying when nathan users keep doing the barrel and gun combo all throughout the game.
