Playable demo arrives next week on the PlayStation Store.

SCEA has announced the release date of PlayStation Move Ape Escape, a new spin-off of the Ape Escape franchise that is designed exclusively for Sony's new controllers, the PlayStation Move.

The game will be available in the PlayStation Store starting on Tuesday, July 5th, with a playable demo slated to arrive next week, June 28th. For those who can't wait for the game, SCEA has also released a PlayStation Move Ape Escape Dynamic theme which features some mischievous monkey invaders for US$ 2.99.

In latest adventure, you’ll be tasked with "fending off a monkey invasion after a UFO crash-lands into your house." PlayStation Move Ape Escape promises to take the fan-favorite franchise to a whole new level by allowing you to use the PlayStation Move motion controller "to wield a variety of gadgets while capturing the mischievous monkey invaders."
