PlayStation App v1.1 incoming, detailed

A new version of the official PlayStation App will soon be heading to the Android Market and App Store.

Tagged as version 1.1, the upcoming update includes "some of the most requested features' by the mobile community. This includes:

  • In the MyPSN section you’ll be able to order your friend list based on their online status and search for friends.
  • You will now have the ability to compare trophy information with your friends in more detail.
  • In the Blog section, you’ll now be able to comment directly from the app and also rate the posts in portrait and landscape mode.
  • There is a new section in the app called Share & Discuss. In there you’ll find all our official PlayStation updates from Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.


Announced late last year, the official PlayStation App is targeted mainly at European PlayStation users as it will only be available in the region. The free app does not let you play games.

yeah, its too outdate, i was so pumped to get it, then i saw the galaxy s II, 1.2ghz dual core, 1gb ram, its around twice as fast on the quadrant which measures memory, cpu and gpu
