If you’re a fan of the Sony brand and a PS3 owner, odds are good that you’re waiting on the release of PlayStation All-Stars Super Battle Limited Edition Remix HD. After all, it’s not like there are any other games remotely like it to play right now for other systems, right?

Right. So here’s some good news, Sony fans: PS All-Stars has officially gone gold. Which means it’s ready to ship, and almost ready for you to purchase. Also, a new trailer that may or may not be the game’s opening cinematic:
I have to be honest and admit that I recognized probably half of the characters in that trailer (and most were non-Sony exclusive). But I’m sure Sony fans noticed more, and hopefully liked what they saw. And I have no idea who the boss revealed at the end is; feel free to tell me in the comments.
Are you picking up this game when it launches?

I am surprised that I recognized the boss though, IIRC that floating purple head was the original Playstation mascot before any series really became prevalent on the system.... that reminds me, considering how many non-exclusive characters there are, I am surprised that Crash Bandicoot and Spyro are not in it, Crash was basically Sony's unofficial mascot back in the PS1 era.
