There are plenty of rumors circulating about the PlayStation 4, and hopefully many of them will get cleared up when Sony finally unveils their upcoming console. One rumor concerns the PS4 controller. Will it have a front-facing touchpad?

One source told VG247 that the PS4’s controller will have a front-facing touchpad. To include it in the controller’s design, the Start and Select buttons have been moved around. This contradicts a prior rumor that the controller would come equipped with a rear-facing touchpad similar to the one found on the PS Vita.
As for the overall form factor of the PS4 controller, the same source said it should be pretty much like the current DualShock controller. Besides the touchpad, the only major difference would be improved L2 and R2 buttons.
A Share button was also rumored to be part of the new PlayStation controller, but that was shot down by the source. Such a button would allow players to post screenshots and videos to the internet with ease.
What would you like to see from the PlayStation 4’s controller?
