Ninokuni release window set for North America

North American gamers will soon be able to get their hands on the PS3 version of Ninokuni, Level-5 and Studio Ghibli's much-awaited game collaboration.

Well, not exactly real soon, but at least they did announce a release window at the ongoing Tokyo Game Show. The reveal was made in Sony's presser, courtesy of Level-5 boss Akihiro Hino. Said the president, a localized version of the game will be coming out sometime in 2012. If you're familiar with the DS version, then you'll probably be glad to know that the PS3 version starts off basically on the same point.

However, the story does evolve into something different for the PS3 version later on, somewhere come the middle of the game. That should be something to look forward to, as it would be a crying shame if the PS3 version will just be a direct port of the DS one. On top of that, the Level-5 president also confirmed that PS3 gamers will be treated to additional story content, picking up where the DS story left of.

Ninokuni will be setting sail for Japan on November 17th. Earlier this month, they teased a Special Edition PS3 for this game.

this is why i love level-5 i never thought we would get this game, but i was hoping and preying and Level-5 came through now i wanna see there new psvita exclusive hope its not no professor layton crap (no offence) but that game is over rated. im hoping a new dark cloud game or rouge galaxy or something along the same rpg style as those games

This game is great!

Been playing through the DS Japanese Game and just want the English version now!

So happy about this though!
