New Nirvana tracks coming to Rock Band

Get ready for more Nirvana tracks on your Rock Band 3.

You Know You're Right

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s era defining Nevermind album, Harmonix will release four new Nirvana songs to the Rock Band catalog, while adding Pro Guitar and Bass upgrades to its ten other existing tracks.

Slated to arrive on September 20th, these tracks will include “Rape Me”, “All Apologies”, and “Heart-Shaped Box,” taken from the bands 1993 album In Utero, as well as “You Know You’re Right,” one of the last tracks known to have be recorded by the band that remained unreleased until awesome 2002 Nirvana compilation album.

In addition to the four new tracks, all the existing songs from the band will also receive Pro Guitar/Bass upgrades. These tracks will include:

Nirvana – “Smells Like Teen Spirit”
Nirvana – “Breed”
Nirvana – “Polly”
Nirvana – “Territorial Pissings”
Nirvana – “Lounge Act”
Nirvana – “Stay Away”
Nirvana – “On a Plain”
Nirvana – “Something in the Way”
Nirvana – “Lithium (live)”
Nirvana – “Come As You Are (live)”

The four new tracks will cost US$ 1.99 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points. It will also be available as “Celebrating Nirvana Pack” and will set you back US$ 6.99 on all three platforms. The Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions on the other hand will cost US$ 0.99 per song.

If your a big fan of the band and own Rock Band 3, you really should not miss this one out. Personally, I can't wait.
