New Ninja Gaiden 3 details surfaced |

The latest issue of the PlayStation: The Official Magazine has spilled some juicy details about Team Ninja's highly-anticipated Ninja Gaiden 3.
According to the games' project lead Yosuke Hayashi, as posted by the folks at GamesThirst, the upcoming iteration of the ultraviolent series will focus on a much darker side Ryu Hayabusa with a more violent approach.
“We are focusing Ryu as a dark Japanese hero,” Hayashi told the mag. “There won’t be new playable characters, but we’ll focus more deeply on Ryu Hyabusa’s life and lifestyle and feelings and thoughts.
“We are trying to take the violent concepts even deeper and make people realize how it feels to actually kill someone and what it is to actually gut someone,” he added. “It’s very important to us that people realize that violence is not only about blood and gore.”
Hayashi also notes about the games new design, making it more accessible to new gamers, but at the same time keeping it true to the hardcore fans.
“We know that many fans feel good about the difficulty level, but we are taking a slightly different approach. It’s not that the game’s going to be easier – nothing like that. It’s just that we are trying to make a whole game, a more exciting game that can be enjoyed by anyone. But at the same time, hardcore gamers will be able to feel and appreciate what the series is about.”
Hayashi also revealed that the game would include a “complex multiplayer mode.” When quizzed about a possible PlayStation Move support, Hayashi remains mute, saying it’s a closely guarded secret at the moment.

H3ll no!!! It was a very cheap way for Team Ninja to approach hardcore difficulty, losing all respect along the way! I better hope they bring back difficulty from NGB!!!
