If you've already put down your plastic guitar controller because Activision's already nixed the Guitar Hero franchise, don't stop playing just yet. There's an all-new track pack for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock that Activision released today to keep fuel your interest in the game for a while longer.

The Modern Rock Mega Pack, which can be downloaded beginning today, contains nine tracks full of buzzing guitars and nasty riffs. Among the tracks included are "Supermassive Black Hole" from Grammy Award winners Muse, "Sorrow" from punk rock legend Bad Religion and "Headstrong" from Trapt's platinum-selling, self-titled debut album.

The Modern Rock Mega Pack can now be downloaded on Xbox Live Marketplace for Microsoft's Xbox 360 console for 1320 Microsoft Points, on the PlayStation Store for US$ 16.49 and for Wii for 1650 Wii Points. All of the songs in the track pack can also be downloaded individually for 160 Microsoft Points / US$ 1.99 / 200 Wii Points each.

Here's the complete track list:

  • "Sorrow" by Bad Religion
  • "Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades" by Brand New
  • "She's A Genius" by Jet
  • "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse
  • "Psycho" by Puddle Of Mudd
  • "Little Sister" by Queens Of The Stone Age
  • "Always" by Saliva
  • "Hands Open" by Snow Patrol
  • "Headstrong" by Trapt

Activision has stated before that there will be more downloadable tracks coming to Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock next month.
