Dragon's Dogma is looking surprisingly good. It has a soaring epic story, fast-paced action, magic, and awesome looking mythical beasts like chimeras and griffons. And it does it all in a style that avoids the WoW-ish cartoony style, which is refreshing in the fantasy genre of late.

This new trailer, though, is less about the epic story and monsters and more about the micromanagement that is one of the cornerstones of RPGs nowadays. As you travel around the world of Dragon's Dogma, you'll be able to collect herbs and monsters' body parts to craft potions and other items for your use. You'll also be able to take them into town and sell them, of course.

So it looks like Dragon's Dogma will be fairly in-depth and par for the course as far as an RPG goes, which is not a bad thing.

It will be out May 22nd in North America and May 25th in Europe. Don't forget, it comes with a Resident Evil 6 demo.
