Electronic Arts has announced today that Need for Speed: The Run, the latest iteration of its high ocatane action racing series, will be getting a limited edition. The special package will feature three cars and five exclusive challenges for the same price as the normal edition.
Getting the Limited Edition will give you acces to three of the "world’s most precisely handcrafted, high-tech supercars: the highly anticipated 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S, the 700HP untamed beast known as the Lamborghini Aventador and the fastest, most technologically advanced Camaro ever built, the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1." Aside from the rides, the Limited Edition also includes five exclusive challenges, "offering players the chance to one-up their friends and master their driving skills while earning bonus rewards and achievements."
Developed by the folks at Black Box, Need for Speed: The Run promises to set the bar of the racing genre even higher with its unparalleled visual quality and enhanced physics using the groundbreaking Frostbite 2 engine. It will be available on November 15 in North America and November 17 in Europe for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, and Nintendo 3DS.
