Namco Bandai 'affected' by PSN downtime

Companies have been pretty vocal about the trouble that they experienced as well, thanks to the PSN downtime. Namco Bandai, through Tekken director Katsuhiro Harada, paints the picture a bit clearer for us as he admits that they too were affected by it.

sfxtekken-thumbSaid Harada in an interview with CVG, "The company as a whole [has] been affected because of the PSN downtime." There are, of course, direct consequences Namco games, what with all the DLCs they have planned to release. "Especially for example [Street Fighter director Yoshinori] Ono-san, we heard he couldn't release the download content he originally planned because of the down time."

"Maybe some other developers out there planned to use some of the profits that came from DLC to further their development, so it probably had some kind of negative impact on that. But in terms of Tekken only, there's nothing that really stands out other than the fans contacting us to say they're worried they can't play online."

Release the DLC now that the PSN is up again, fans will still buy it..

Unless it was some super time sensitive DLC that would only sell during the month of April, and quite frankly, can't think of why this would be, so.
