Risen 2: Dark Waters revisits a fantasy world of pirates, voodoo, ghosts, and whacking the hell out of people with a cutlass. The swordplay isn't the most exciting thing in the world, but it does lean toward a bit of realism in that regard. Except you don't die form an infection a week later after getting hit with a cutlass twenty times.

These new trailers for the game feature the main character taking his bloodoath before Captain Steelbeard, fighting with pirates and "natives" (for lack of a better term), and some good old voodoo. It's good to see the variety of dialogue options you have when dealing with NPCs, but it still has that stilted sound to it that is almost completely absent in games like Mass Effect.
