Capcom may have abandoned survival horror in Resident Evil, but it sure looks like fun! Many have decried the way that Capcom has slowly all but phased out survival horror from the Resident Evil franchise. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City may be the nail in the coffin of RE survival horror, as it is the first RE game in which you can walk and shoot at the same time. Oh the humanity!
But seriously, Capcom is also going full-blown multiplayer with Operation Raccoon City and have put out a video to let you know all about them. Here are the modes:
- Team Attack - It's 4 versus 4, Umbrella Security Service (USS, i.e. the bad guys) against Spec Ops (the good guys)...plus BOWs (bio-organic weapons, i.e. monsters) and zombies thrown in to mess with everybody.
- Biohazard - 4 versus 4 escort mode. USS versus Spec Ops again.
- Survivors - Survive against waves of monsters. You know, like Horde or COD zombies.
- Heroes - Play as classic RE characters like Leon, Ada, Hunk, Claire, etc. against each other in a free for all.
It's also been rumored that at some point you'll be able to play as a BOW.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be out March 20th in North America and March 23rd in Europe.

I love the Resident Evil games from part 1 to code veronica, and mixed feelings for part 4.RE5 was too coop-y,just want another game makes me wanna fear a big ass alligator in the sewers and hope not to be eaten. That kind of thrills i miss from the series.
