Mass Effect 3 CE pre-orders nearly run out |

The sky is falling and Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition has apparently run out and if you don't have your pre-order in right now then you may be completely screwed. The game's N7 Collector's Edition has been confirmed as very limited by the guys at Bioware and that many retailers have "sold out" of their allotment of pre-orders...which sounds a bit like a paradox to me.
It's either a cunning ruse of getting people to pre-order more and purchase more copies of the game or they simply did not do the calculations for materials and promotions before the game went into production....both cases are fairly negligently evil....but let's just say that EA just simply miscalculated for now and that I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
Okay, to be far, EA did warn us back in November this would happen and now that it has there have already been petitions popping up everywhere, but what else can you really do? Well nothing according to Bioware's Community Coordinator Chris Priestly who shot down the request saying that they "simply cannot [produce] any more physical CE's...before launch. The items included in the [Collector's Edition] cannot be made in time for launch. Sorry, it will not happen."
Priestly went on explaining the digital PC CE would still be available through Origin and include all the DLC the boxed versions would have but the physical stuff, such as the patch, the art book and the other wonderful things you can see above, will only be for those who pre-ordered before February.
Mass Effect 3 will be out on March 6th in the US and 9th everywhere else.
