Yesterday we posted a report announcing the delayed Japanese release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds' new downloadable characters. It turns out that the delay does affect the Japanese releases only. Capcom USA has confirmed that the downloadable content pack will be released in the U.S. and Europe as scheduled.
The DLC pack adds two new fighters to the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roster. The Capcom side gets S.T.A.R.S. member and Resident Evil series protagonist Jill Valentine while the Marvel roster is bolstered by the addition of the tentacled monstrosity known only as Shuma Gorath.
The DLC pack will be available for purchase and download starting today, March 15, on Xbox Live and on PlayStation Network. Each character will set you back 400 Microsoft Points or US$ 4.99. Those who bought the special edition of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will get both characters for free.
