Lost in Translation - Grasshopper Follows up Lollipop Chainsaw with "Killer is Dead" |
Listed in: News Tags: killer is dead, lollipop chainsaw, Suda 51

Grasshopper Manufacture's follow-up to Lollipop Chainsaw is entitled "Killer is Dead." It's their second game in their partnership with Kadokawa Games, but it's not a sequel to Suda 51's Killer 7, despite the name.
Suda 51 is directing Killer is Dead, but this time around you'll be playing as a prisoner who has been sentenced to death. Instead of merely sitting in a cell waiting for the governor's call that never comes, however, you'll get a chance to save yourself somehow by killing the assassin sent to kill you. It's said that Killer is Dead will be in the style of Suda 51's previous efforts Killer 7 and No More Heroes (particularly the swordplay of No More Heroes) and that it will feature beautiful, Bond-girl-like ladies. But of course!
That's about all the details there are for this game, besides the fact that it will be out in 2013 sometime. The name is strange, but translation often does that I guess.
