LittleBigPlanet reaches 4 million levels

SCEA revealed that Media Molecule's creative franchise has recently reached a key milestone, with over four million user-generated levels to date.

To be more precise, its 4,141,742 levels (LBP1 and LBP2). That number equates to almost 78 years to play through every single level of the game.

“For us the most exciting thing has always been seeing what the community does with a LittleBigPlanet game when they get their hands on the new features and tools," says Media Molecule. "We’re constantly delighted – and amazed – by their ingenuity and creativity, and it’s so inspiring to see the level of affection that exists for LittleBigPlanet amongst fans around the world.”

As a little treat for the community, Media Molecule will bring back the LittleBigPlanet Contraption Challenge and this time, fans are tasked to construct a working submarine. You can check out the details here.

On April 26th, Media Molecule will also release a Tron: Evolution Minipack in the PlayStation Store. Priced at US$ 2.99, the pack will include two brand new costumes and a batch of new stickers. On the next month, a Killzone 3 Minipack will also see action that will also include two costumes and a bunch of stickers.
