Yes, Starhawk has an online network pass and that's something to bitch about. On the other hand, this online pass appears to actually have value. Lightbox Interactive and Sony are giving away the original Warhawk for free if you have the pass. All you have to do is redeem the Starhawk Online Network pass you get with a new copy of the game and the original Warhawk will show up in your download queue.

Warhawk came out in 1995 and was the inspiration for the 2007 PS3 remake. It's an old school vehicle simulation game that sees you flying a VTOL craft around, fighting other similar craft and other vehicles such as tanks as you fight against the evil forces of the megalomaniacal tyrant Kreel.

So there's a nod for all you old-school gamers out there.
