Konami Digital Entertainment announced today that three titles set to release this month in Japan have been pushed back by one month.
According to the publisher, the following games will see a slight delay:
- Pro Baseball Spirits 2011
- Otomedius X
- Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds Duel Trancer
Pro Baseball Spirits 2011 was initially supposed to release in Japan on March 31 for the Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS; Pro Baseball Spirits 2011 will now release on April 14. Otomedius X, an Xbox 360 exclusive title, was supposed to hit shelves on March 24, but has been pushed back to April 24 along with Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds Duel Trancer for the Wii.
These delays come on the heel of a riveting 8.9 earthquake that struck northern Japan on March 11, 2011. While cities such as Tokyo and Kyoto were dealt with only minor damage, the northern city of Sendai, home to one of Japan's largest airports, has been left virtually in ruin.
