Kojima:Looking forward to playing only L.A. Noire

Wow, Rockstar's definitely got some huge fans waiting out there for the release of L.A. Noire. No other than Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has expressed his anticipation for the game.

 

He's not being shy saying that the's got high expectations for L.A. Noire, too, but that he's confident that it could very well change the face of adventure games as we know it.

 

Taking to his Twitter page, Kojima said:

 

"It seems that L.A. Noire will be released in Japan on 7th July (the Star Festival). It is the most and the only game that I am looking forward to playing. English version will be released in May. I cannot wait, but as it is the detective game, I should wait for the Japanese version. This game may change the future of 'adventure game'. I've got a big expectation!"

Now that Kojima's revealed these things, it's not hard to imagine how this will only make people up their expectations for L.A. Noire as well.

 

We'll find out if it meets the famed game creator's standards when it comes out in the US on May 17th, and on May 20th in Europe.

Imagine if Kojima came out with a sci-fi detective game similar to Blade Runner, that would be pretty sweet. I know! Doctor Who! get him to work on a DW game :D Thats basically Sherlock Holmes in space. Or it used to be in the classic series.

It would be really awesome to see a mystery-adventure game by Kojima. I kinda hope this game lives up to/surpasses his expectations and perhaps inspires him to start a new mystery(stealth action??)-adventure ip.

He likes to talk about the game from time to time and how he wishes he could work on a new ZoE. Even though the Mechs in the game look suspiciously like EVA's in Evangelion, I still just love the game and I really can't wait for him to announce something.
