Japanese charts: Dark Souls debut at number 1

The Nintendo 3DS maintains its top spot in the hardware department.

Sales of the 3DS in fact increased, moving 70,159 units as compared to last weeks 58,837. The PS3 remains on the second spot with 39,452 units sold, with the PSP and Wii rounding off the top four.

Here's Media Create's top 10 hardware sales chart for the week ending September 25th, with last week's sales in parentheses::

The spiritual successor of Demons Souls debuted on top of the Japanese software charts, selling 279,567 units in its first week, enough to grab hold of the number one spot. The game, which is a PS3 exclusive in Japan, managed to shrug off fellow PS3 exclusive ICO and Shadow of the Colossus collection, which debuted on the second place with 91,902 units sold. Rounding off the top five for the week ending October 25th are Konami's card dueling PSP title Yu-gi-oh 5D's Tag Force 6 at number three, Gears of War 3 which only managed to sneak in at number four and Dragon Quest Collection at number five.

Already pre-ordered two copies, one for myself and another for a gift to a friend.

That aside, what's with the "15" PSP GO? Did they literally sell 15 of them or is that supposed to be hundreds or something? I would honestly feel kind of bad if it's really that low, not that it deserves much better though.
