Is This the Best Game of E3? |
Listed in: News Tags: e3, Ubisoft, watch dog
If you’ve been watching the E3 livestreams or following Twitter or liveblogs, you’re probably already in the loop about Ubisoft’s brand new IP, Watch Dogs. If not, allow me to get you up to speed: Yesterday Ubisoft showed off a completely original game and essentially set the E3 conference on fire.

After the demo, people were already talking about Watch Dogs being the best game of the show—despite the fact that there are still a solid three days of announcements ahead. That’s pretty high praise for an as of yet unproven title, but the game does admittedly look very cool. Essentially, the game comes off as a sort of GTA/Deus Ex hybrid.
We’ll let you decide for yourself:
So, what do you think? Is Watch Dogs the best thing we’re going to see, or could another studio top it with a late show unveiling?

The Last of Us looks fantastic as well. It's between those two so far for the best thing I've seen.
I also liked the trailers for Assassin's Creed III (and liberation), Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Tomb Raider.
I can't wait to see some more TLoU, along with Hitman: Absolution, Dishonoured, Dust 514, TES Online, Borderlands 2 and Ni No Kuni.
Here's hoping that Hideo Kojima pops up with some incredible showpiece for us all to wax lyrical over.
