Insomniac: We’re Finished With Resistance |

Insomniac have put the nail in the coffin as far as their involvement with Resistance is concerned with a video confirming what they had previously stated in an interview.
In the video, Ted Price (studio chief at Insomniac) states that the franchise isn't over, but they simply have finished telling what they have to tell as far as their Resistance story goes. The franchise lives on though, what with Nihilistic Software currently developing for the franchise, currently working on
Resistance: Burning Skies for the PS Vita.
Insomniac aren't one to linger as far as game series go, and are already moving on to Overstrike,which they announced last year at E3, a new title set for release on the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
So Resistance spin-offs will continue to thrive, just not under the helm of Insomniac. Not the worst news, and hopefully both Burning Skies and Overstrike will be great.
