Injustice: Gods Among Us - More Than Just a Mortal Kombat Clone |
Listed in: News Tags: injustice: gods among us, netherrealm studios, warner bros

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game from the same guys that brought you Mortal Kombat, albeit featuring characters from DC Comics. That being said, it's not just a Mortal Kombat clone, according to the developer anyway. They've even put out a little behind-the-scenes video with a bunch of guys from NetherRealm Studios saying as much.
They mention such things as button layout changes (no block button, 3 attack buttons, a Character Trait button to change stances, etc.) and the over-the-top action (throwing cars, Super Moves) as ways that the game will be very different from Mortal Kombat.
They also go into all the fun they had playing with all the DC characters and likening the game to a superhero summer blockbuster movie.
Check it all out below and look for Injustice: Gods Among Us in April of 2013.
