It's gonna be blood bath in New Marais as Vampires swarm the city.

Sucker Punch has pinned down the release date of the next downloadable content of inFamous 2. Dubbed as the "Festival of Blood," this brand new standalone single player DLC for the game will be available on PSN this October.

"Vampires swarm New Marais, and revered superhero Cole MacGrath has been bitten," reveals Ken Schramm of Sucker Punch regarding the upcoming content. "To save his soul – and the city – he has just one night to find and kill the head vampire." Festival of Blood features new missions, themed environment settings, new characters as well as new enemies that explores the darker side of the inFamous universe. According to Schramm, you don’t need to have a copy of previous inFamous games to play this one as it is completely standalone. Think something like Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nighmare, though no price point has been announced yet. The game was recently released as a digital download on PSN while the original title was recently given a new lease of life part of Sony's "Welcome Back Program".
