ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection final boxart revealed

With the game's release date just around the corner, Sony today officially unveiled the final boxart of the ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, a revamped version of two of PlayStation 2's highly acclaimed action adventure games, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.

Pictured above is the regular boxart of the game, which looks boring and generic. So to sweeten up the deal, the cover can be reversed, showing off a clean stylized artwork from the original Japanese box art of both titles.

Now onto Team ICO's long awaited project, The Last Guardian. If you're wondering why the game was not included in Sony's TGS 2011 lineup, well, its simply because it won't be at the show. As SCEA's Brian Dunn explains: "We wanted to confirm that The Last Guardian is not on the schedule for this year’s Tokyo Game Show. However we can assure you that Ueda-san and the rest of the development team are hard at work to bring his lofty vision to life and deliver the very best gaming experience possible."

The ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection will be available on September 27th. If you missed this games on the PS2 before, now is the time to grab this two epic masterpiece of the last generation.
