My points on those (personally) from playing it are that, yes, the single player campaign is short but at the same time it is excellent, afterall alot of multipler-focused games don't even have a single player.
Graphics... The graphics are excellent, and if I recall correctly the devs are going to implement a patch that'll include destructibility .
And 'tanking'... Well, it forces you to be tactical and careful. I for one despise games like modern battlefields and CoD where you can tank 30 bullets or so and simply walk away afterwards.
/random related rant.

the campaign is absolute shite the whole way through. I was hoping for this to be a slow, story focused game. Its not, its go to this area, stop, shoot baddies move. Theres no real story to it at all and the US army comes in at the end, so much for guerillas.
They tried to copy COD, in a rush and never actually looked at what made COD campaign good. They went for the save the day story, which just isnt exactly representative of what would happen. They chase the koreans of the golden gate bridge and suddenly theyve taken San Fran
They shouldve played, this is survival and not victory story. And make the story about simply staying alive and not chasing the koreans out.
Everything they said in interviews are flat out lies. Theres no dramatic music like in cod, we didnt want to use cheap tricks like that (There is dramatic music throughout). You see about 5 sentry turrets throughout the game. They just seemed to plug things into missions instead of stories.
If you also look at the concept art during loading screens. Thats what the game shouldve been like. The couple sheltering in the supermarkets etc.
Just very very disappointed in it. I got the wrong impression They are trying to replicate COD on a friday afternoon, and i thought they came across as hating COD in the interviews
HOWEVER. Games need to take heed of the games multiplayer, which is quite good and much better than COD. But lacks the team element of Battlefield. I Like the cash in system, which i was hoping for a game to implement, it works very well. And the maps are very good and i mean very good, atleast the one where your in a town. Theyre nice and big plenty of shelter and flanking. So for those wanting a multiplayer which is a bit less action than in COD (which has become a total joke, Run n Gun), But feel battlefield is too empty. Get this game
Also there is a lot of graphical glitches and walking through walls and alot of poor things such as that (They dont annoy me much). They need to get their engine sorted out. The textures are awful and often dont load quick enough (so your left with the lower res texture) And objects tend to disappear.
They seem to have wanted to have made a multiplayer game and thats all.
Still waiting for that survival guerilla game (any recommendation)
Almost used up the word count. End Rant

Great game to be honest, I have started to feel sorry for THQ with all the negativity surrounding this game. Hopefully the sales will pick things up for them.

But of course that is only tentatively related to what people will latch onto next.
(Maybe this is like Jerry Lewis and French people but for English people.)
