Yes, Hitman: Absolution just came out. But that isn't stopping Square from releasing concept art for the next Hitman game! Right now, everyone's calling it Hitman 6, but don't expect that to stick permanently. 

Anyway, the first bit of concept art shows good ol' Agent 47 himself stalking someone in the shadows down a rain-soaked street. It's a fairly typical scene in the Hitman franchise and captures the feel perfectly. The other piece is someone diving backwards all John Woo style, guns ablaze. It's not a terribly efficient and effective way of fighting in the real world, but hey it looks cool.

Both pieces come courtesy of Square Montreal's Senior Concept Artist Leonid Enyne and Art Director Rasmus Poulsen. They were posted on Schaffi Games via NeoGAF.

With the recent announcement that the Hitman franchise would be split between two studios a la Call of Duty, allowing for more Hitman games in a shorter amount of time, it shouldn't be a surprise that they're already working on the next iteration.
