Have a Look at This Redesigned PlayStation Move Controller

Sony recently filed a patent application for a potentially redesigned PlayStation Move controller that could provide even more of an interactive experience when gaming.

Images for the redesigned Move controller showcase multiple possibilities of how it could be used.  The controller looks to have swappable buttons as well as connections for attaching two controllers.  One of the patent images shows the Move controller in its long form being used like a sword, while another shows how multiple controllers can be attached to hands and legs to track simultaneous movements.

This January 3rd patent application follows another by Sony in November that appeared to combine a DualShock and a Move controller together.  Of course, Sony files tons of patents, so it’s no telling if we will ever see this designs hit shelves.  Still, they do give a possible glimpse into the future of gaming.

What do you think of this Move controller and the possibilities it presents?

You bought a controller 2-3 YEARS after it's initial release and you're bitching about them thinking about their next version?

Did you also buy a 2010 car and then complain about them releasing the 2013 model?
