Okay those two images were psych outs, but check this bad boy out.

Yes, that is Sony Personal 3D Viewer. Now, yes it may look ridiculous...almost like it was something from Total Recall. The technology is brilliant on the product. It's a single head mounted display with audio input, 5.1 for both gaming and films. They showed off the game display with Gran Turismo 5 and it looks fucking phenomenal.

Why yes it does look a bit ridiculous when you're hooked up like that, but it's pretty much worth it. The game is completely streaming in your head with small bits of plastic so you can view it comfortably for hours on end. They adjust the strap at the back and move it around so you can wear it comfortable on your head and tell you not to have it against your nose.
So that was pretty cool and I genuinely think it will be the future of gaming technology. Imagine it for a horror game or Skyrim, essentially right in front of your face. It's incredibly immersive with the 5.1 sound and the vision is incredibly clear and can be adjusted to different types of eyesight for those who use contacts or glasses. They also had one running with a 3D version of The Smurfs film.
While the film was quite terrible, again the film was clear and if you had two hours and a long charge you could just relax in the comfort of your own head with the headset. You hook it up to a HDMI box and that in turn is hooked into anything from a TV to a PS3 or any range of Sony products. It works so well and it's great to see Sony taking this leap.

Another gaming piece of tech there were the new Sony Tablets. I did a video review of the Sony Tablet S some time ago and they have announced new Tablet S with 3G capabilities. But what I'm really excited about is their new Sony Tablet P. The one on the left is the Sony Tablet S, on the right Tablet P.
Yes, both of them are running the fabled classic of Crash Bandicoot and they both run them very smoothly and can be played either via touchscreen or with a PS3 controller. The games work really well and run smoothly as do the apps on them. DS jokes aside the Tablet P is a cool device and with the right marketing and price range I'd highly suggest it.

The iPad is personally not that functional on the go and it doesn't reach too far out of the market of hipsters, photographers and tech people. The Tablet P could be great for parents, kids and even students who just want a tiny laptop on the go. It's a dual core processor inside and it runs just like the other tablet but it has the light weight functionality of a handheld console.
So overall the event was awesome. I also talked to the producers of the upcoming Storm Surfers movie who are hoping to develop a game based on the film and I will hopefully get to try that out in the near future. The film looks awesome and will be out and in 3D by the end of the year. They used Sony's 3D Handycams to shoot the feature and the footage looks stunning.
Anyway, that was my time with Sony and I cannot wait to check them out again. You can check out my review of the Sony Tablet S here and any of Sony's new products here.

So they sugarcoated your vision of them and you fell for it?; are you oblivious or you got paid?. Btw, did you get paid?.
Sony is one special case where products and company are NOT equals. They are and always be the same scum of the earth no matter how well their representatives smile at journalists for them to write positive reviews about them -it's their job!, after all-. And that aside... u got paid?

But that said, let me answer one of your questions; no, he wasn't paid.
If we were being paid to write good reviews I'd probably be in Sydney now.
