I kinda like THQ. I mean, they just let off a whole bunch of people here in Australia but they did make Sainst Row 3...actually that barely balances everything out at all. Anyway, THQ is pissed off at the moment, or rather the people they made a good deal with are pissed at the moment.

It's Adidas.
Yep, the clothing, sport and footwear manufacturer is suing THQ for a breach of contract. A lawsuit was filed last Wednesday at the Multnomah County Circuit Court, which claims that the game miCoach caused more than $10 million in damages to the company.
The game in question was meant to offer consumers a digital exercise-measurement system in the vein of Nike+ products and Garmin watches, but Adidas say that an agreement between THQ and Adidas from back in December of 2010 was grounds for their lawsuit. THQ had a deadline of January 2012 and it looks like they did not deliver. THQ, say in their defense, they are facing layoffs and a restructure of their business and struggeles to get into the black despite two incredible titles in 2011.
The lawsuit officially states that THQ told Adidas it would not be able to finish the game and that it is mainly due to the lost people as they were working on the miCoach title. Adidas did not stop with the 10 mil as they have accused THQ of refusing to turn over publishing materials to an alternative developer that Adidas chose due to THQ's tardiness.
At the moment, Adidas is also seeking an injunction requiring that THQ not sell or transfer the rights to the miCoach-related game.
