Most fantasy worlds have their own version of the manticore - a winged monster that is a hideous combination of man, lion, and scorpion. Let's take a look at how the guys behind God of War: Ascension built theirs.

The "Making of" video below goes into the design and animation techniques that Sony Santa Monica used in creating the manticore. We get to see Todd Papy calling for changes in the design and ultimately how the animators have to deal with it all in the end.

After that, we have 30 minutes of gameplay that has leaked. Needless to say, there's going to be some spoilers in there.
